Are any fees payable?
We do not charge a fee for the recommendation and implementation of any protection policy. However, we are paid a commission from the provider of the plan once it is in place. Details of this will be stated in the policy’s illustration that you will receive prior to proceeding with any recommendation that we make.

Will you require my medical information?
It is likely that we will need to obtain from you details of your current state of health and any medication that you are taking. We may also need details of any lifestyle factors such as alcohol consumption and use of tobacco that the medical underwriters may need to take into consideration. We can discuss this further with you.

Can you review a particular area of concern, or do you need to review all my protection needs?
If there is a particular area of concern that you would like us to address, then we can review this specifically and make recommendations for you.

What are my commitments?
You are not obligated to follow our recommendation. However, our recommendations will be made in the best interests of you and anyone you wish to protect financially. If you do later choose to discontinue with any cover that we have implemented, then no further premiums will be due but the protection you have will cease and you may need to reapply for this, potentially at a higher cost, if you wish resume cover.

What happens if the costs of any recommended policies exceed my budget now or sometime in the future?
Whilst discussing your requirements and priorities with you, we will also ascertain your budget. Our advice will factor in the costs of cover and recommend a plan that best meets your budget and priorities.
If you find in the future that your financial position changes, it is important that you contact us before taking any action that will affect the policies that we implement for you.
